- March 2010 - Decide to move forward with adoption
- April - early May - Research agencies, discuss options with other adoptive families
- May 21 - Announce that we are adopting to our friends and family
- June 9 - Chose our adoption agency
- July 1 - First Homestudy visit
- August 10 - Last Homestudy visit
- August 30 - Mailed Homestudy and Family Profile (essays and pictures) to agency
- September - Family profile created by agency, reviewed by us and sent back in for final review
- October 15 - Officially a waiting family!
- December - Asked by our agency to create a video profile (mimics the family profile online); spend a month filming little clips and interviews.
- January 2011 - Update from Adoption Agency - no baby yet, but our video profile is up!
