Today marks seven months of being a "waiting family." Each month that passes feels like it both speeds by and slowly drags along. I am trying to make some sense of this wait, but I cannot muster up an explanation, except to say this:
God's timing is always perfect.
I have to believe it, for myself, for my husband, for the child that will belong to us someday.
We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:3-5
Hindsight is always 20/20 love. Once that precious little baby is in your arms you'll understand the timing. You're journeying through this season so gracefully. Love you.
