Warning, lots of pictures!

Saturday, July 9
Mere and I spent the majority of the day at the beach, this time on Long Beach. We packed our cooler again and spent the day reading and chatting. Early that evening we drove to West Corvina to a new skate shop opened by a friend of Joe's. They were grilling out, but Dave, Meredith, Matt and I decided to do a little double date and leave the skate team with Joe.

We went into Belmont Shore's downtown area and ate at Bono's. It was amazing food and of course amazing company. Dave and Mere are like our family and we love them so much.

My dinner - so yummy!

Sunday, July 10
We ate breakfast, and headed to a local church called The Garden. It was an amazing worship set and service. After, we headed back to the house for lunch, where one of Joe's contacts, a shoe designer for Vans and two of his friends joined us.

That afternoon we drove north to Venice Beach. We parked and the team skated up the boardwalk to the Venice skatepark. It was some amazing people watching to say the least. At one or more points during our walk down the boardwalk, Meredith and I were either laughing hysterically or trying to stay away from someone strange. It was bananas.

We went to dinner at a local Greek restaurant, then headed back to the skate park for one last session. Matt got some amazing shots there at sunset and I'll definitely post a link when the entire video is done.
