I love weekends. Matt and I have a tendency to try to squeeze as much in as we can, and this weekend was no exception.
Friday we went to a local venue and saw our amazing friends Public Radio open for Campbell the Band. The show was epic!

Saturday, we slept in, ate some lunch, cleaned the house, then I headed over to Jessie's house to celebrate their darling daughter Sparrow Song and her first birthday. Sparrow is a miracle baby - she was born with a heart defect and has victoriously lived through 2 very intense heart surgeries. Let me tell you, this little girl is special. She has the sweetest personality and is such a little fighter - just like her mama. The party was full of friends and their sweet children, lots of pink, feathers and bird themed things. What a sweet celebration!
That night we headed to the lake to celebrate our young friend Trevor's high school graduation. We swam, ate and then built a bonfire and make s'mores. It was a beautiful night and a lot of fun.

Sunday was church, a haircut for Matt (thanks Charis), then an afternoon of work for both of us (me for my job, Matt for a video he is trying to finish up), then dinner at Portifino's with my parents. Mom and Dad are heading to Virginia this week with the Carolina Jaguar Club to do a road trip up the coast to Delaware and back. My dad owns a convertible version of the car (don't ask me the year or model, all I know is the car is blue) and loves being a part of this club. I am so glad they are enjoying their semi-retirements.
Hope your weekend was fun! Happy Monday!

Looks like an awesome weekend with a lot of love!!!
