Baby Bags and Generosity

As you know from this post, I have been wishing for and obsessing about a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. I really liked the boxy backpacks best for their style/price, and was planning to save up for one once we got some extra cash.

But to my surprise, I was blessed with a PPB diaper bag this afternoon - gifted by two amazing girlfriends, Laura and Lorean (and their husbands and kiddos too)!!!!  

Matt brought in a large wrapped box, set it in Baby M's nursery and told me that someone had dropped off a present, but that he was going to have to videotape me as I opened it because the people who had dropped off the gift wanted to see my reaction. Here is the video:

After this, I called them both to thank them (over and over I might add), gush about how much I love the bag ( I LOVE it!) and how blessed I am by their precious and thoughtful gift! I am still in shock. Here is a picture of the bag - isn't it beautiful? 

It's similar to the Tea on the Thames style that I liked, but the version they gave is shinier and prettier. I love it! I can't wait to fill it with baby gear.  My friends continue to amaze me with their generosity and love for us and our sweet child to be.
