Kitchen Overhaul HGTV Style Part 2

As you might recall from Part 1, we did a massive remodel of our kitchen this past April:

We moved the doorway to align better with the galleyway, we added some more cabinets, primed and painted all the cabinets light grey, added new hardware, a brand new Ikea farmhouse sink (that I got for $60 in the "As Is" section!), moved the dishwasher next to the sink, put in all new window/door frames and shoe molding, painted the walls and moldings and added new butcher block countertops.

But as you know from this photo, Ikea ran out of butcher block - we could only do one side of the kitchen and were told that the next shipment wouldn't come in until June.

Well Ikea FINALLY got in more butcher block! But it didn't come in until July. And we FINALLY purchased an over the stove microwave from Craigslist for $60! We also added a shelf over the fridge for extra storage.

Here is the finished kitchen (minus the floors. I don't know what we'll do with those.)

Yippee! It's finally done!

Except for the floors of course.... hint, hint Matt. :)
